MicroLyte® VET is a unique resorbable film dressing that: -

• provides wound protection
• aids healing
• helps balance wound moisture
• integrates into the wound

MicroLyte® VET is completely safe to use and comprises a nanofilm layer of special polymers, which together, act as a functional (molecular level) matrix to enhance wound healing. The nanofilm layer* is coated with a 20-microns of resorbable polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) to provide a physiological moist healing environment, and provides handleability (making it easy to use). The matrix also contains a low level of nano silver to protect the wound, help prevent microbial (bacterial) contamination, reduce bacteria, and therefore reduce risk of wound infection.

Provides 3-day protection, further applications of MicroLyte Vet can be applied over the previous application.

* The nanofilm layer consists of multiple layers of ionic and cationic polyelectrolytes (PEMs), under 100nm in total width.
